Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer SMS Agro exhibited at the Ploughing for the first time last week. The company brought four machines to Tullamore. The display included the Lanio tine harrow, the Titan Simple Cambridge rollers, the front-mounted Teran F and the Talon Green subsoiler. The hydraulically folding 6m Lanio 600-tine harrow, is designed for both tillage and grassland work. Alongside was the hydraulically operated Titan Simple 630 Cambridge rollers, with a working width of 6.3m. Also on display was the Teran 300 F, a 3m Cambridge roller, designed for the front three-point linkage to act as a press. SMS also showcased the 3m Talon Green 300/4 subsoiler designed for grassland maintenance. Its four tines aerate the soil to a depth of up to 35cm.
